It all began as a hobby driven by a deep passion for porcelain. As an avid collector of vintage dinnerware, I often found myself searching high and low for missing pieces to complete my sets. Over time, I began to realize that I wasn't alone in my quest for beautiful and unique dishes. Many others were also searching for replacement pieces, or simply seeking out vintage dinnerware as a way to connect with the past and add a touch of elegance to their homes.

That's when I decided to turn my hobby into a business, and Lumakawa (our first shop on Etsy) was born. Since 2014, we've been helping people all over the world find the perfect pieces of vintage dinnerware to complete their sets, or gift to friends and loved ones. Our collection includes a wide range of top brands, including Mikasa, Noritake, Lenox, Pfaltzgraf, and Gibson. We take great pride in offering only the finest quality and most authentic pieces.
